Your account settings
The six tabs in account settings, and where to change your profile.
Account settings is where you manage your profile, the model keys and connections your apps use, and the people you work with. Open the Desk and select your account name at the bottom of the sidebar. The dialog has six tabs — Profile, AppHandler, Models, Team, Integrations and Support — a Sign out action, and a Done button to close it.
Profile
The Profile tab shows your name and email address, and holds your account picture. Select Add a picture or Change picture to upload one, and Remove to take it down. Your name and email are shown here but are not editable today. If either needs to change, contact us.
Below the picture is Email me about new messages. Leave it on and we email you when a conversation has a message you have not read after a few minutes. Reading the conversation first cancels the email, so you only hear about messages that are still waiting.
At the bottom of the Profile tab, Delete my account expands the deletion block, which permanently deletes your account and personal data. Apps you own must be deleted first. See Take an app down or delete it.
AppHandler
This is your public profile for the marketplace: what people see when they browse for someone to work on their app. The switch at the top, Offer my services as an AppHandler, lists you in the directory when it is on and takes you out when it is off. You set your own name, one line about what you do, about you, what you build, the languages you speak, your timezone and your hourly rate, and you can change any of it later. Models
Connect your own provider keys here, or build on the hosted Coder-MAX model from your credits. Your first key becomes the default for new apps, and each key can be made the default or removed. This tab also holds your Image model, the model images start from. Build with your own model key covers this in full.
Team
A short list of the people you work with often. Add someone once by email — everyone on your team needs an AppHandle account — and you can then add them to an app by picking them from a list instead of typing their address again.
Integrations
Connect your own external accounts here, once, and every app you build can use them. Your apps never see your login or your tokens; they receive only the data. See Connect an integration.
Support
Tell us what went wrong. Reports go to the people who build AppHandle, and the reply comes by email. Get help explains the other ways to reach us.
Changing your password
There is no password field in account settings. To change your password, sign out and select Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and you receive a link to choose a new password. The link expires, so request a new one if it stops working.
The language of the desk
The language dropdown sits at the foot of the menu, below the tabs, and shows the language you are using now. Choosing another one reloads the Desk with that language applied; Arabic also switches the desk to read from right to left.
Signing out
Sign out sits at the bottom of the dialog. Done closes it without signing out.
